Carved Marble Nandi Statue

Hand-carved Nandi bull in pure Marble stone. Nandi is the steed of Shiva, seen generally in Shaiva temples opposite the shivalingam facing Shiva and is seated outside the temple. <br> <br>It is observed as a custom among some to whisper their wishes in Nandi&nbsp;’s ear, while requesting him to inform the same to his master (Shiva). This felicitous statue of Nandi is crafted in high quality white marble. A good example of Rajasthani marble carving and smooth finish.
